4. Wine Country Trattoria
The serene setting of this Italian restaurant makes it easy to believe that you’ve somehow been transported to the faraway Tuscan countryside. Yet at the same time you’re still right in the heart of all the action at Disney’s California Adventure Park. Wine Country Trattoria is truly a hidden treasure, nestled within a peaceful oasis of pristine natural beauty. Guests may choose to dine indoors or take in an al fresco experience. With the latter, you will enjoy terrace seating surrounded by lush Mediterranean gardens, classic architecture, and rustic splendor all around. Look in awe at the marvelous limestone fountain that was carved by hand and delight in the beauty and fragrance of bountiful blooming flora. And yes, those are indeed actual grape vines growing and sporting real grapes, no less.
Indulge in a menu of traditional Italian classics prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients. Start off with a delicious appetizer of salad, soup, fried calamari, or rustic bruschetta. Enticing entrées of all kinds can be found during lunch and dinner, including lasagna, fettuccine, salmon, and plenty of spaghetti dishes. There’s even a large selection of entrée salads available during lunchtime, as well as delightful dinner exclusives, like rib-eye steak, chicken Parmesan, and osso buco (slow-braised lamb accompanied by vegetables and polenta). Top off any meal with a signature house dessert like chocolate flourless cake, seasonal panna cotta, or even olive oil-lemon cake. And don’t forget this is “Wine Country” after all, so it should come as no surprise that there are more than 25 different wine distinctions to choose from. Varieties range from California’s finest to the very best of international imports. Other specialty drinks, including beer, sangria, and non-alcoholic selections, are also available and make the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Also note, Wine Country Trattoria is one of the participating restaurants in the World of Color Dining Package.
