10 Hidden Gems At California Adventure Park

Club 1901 Disneyland

10. Club 1901

By now there are many who know of Disneyland Park’s elite Club 33, but have you ever heard about Club 1901? This is the Disney California Adventure response to Club 33, and it even offers up the same exclusive membership perks to the same exclusive (Platinum) members belonging to the aforementioned. The secret spot for this club is located on the first level of the famed Carthay Circle Restaurant (and Carthay Circle Lounge). Like Club 33, the entrance does not merit any outward fanfare and therefore does not immediately meet the eye of casual passersby. Rather it’s what’s on the inside that entices those fortunate enough to experience the treasures within. The “1901” in its title signifies the birth year of Walt Disney, and the interior style and décor of the private lounge is reflective of the 1930s. Decorative touches within the lounge include intimate seating, warm décor, cozy lighting, and personal artwork and photographs depicting animators from the early years of the Walt Disney Company. The aura within conveys a sense of being a private little lounge Walt Disney and his team of friendly colleagues would have probably liked to retreat to for a little refreshment and relaxation.
