Top 10 Snacks at Disneyland Parks

If you are getting ready to head out to the Disneyland Parks, you may want to go on an empty stomach. Disneyland has some of the best snacks that you won’t want to miss. I am not even ashamed to admit that on occasion, we have planned our days around some of these awesome quick bites.

10.  Maurice’s Treats – Fantasyland

In a kiosk near the Rapunzel statue you will find a delicious treat known as a twist, a strawberry rose twist, grey stuff twist or cheddar garlic bagel twist. The strawberry rose twist and grey stuff twist are flaky twist filled with either strawberry or chocolate and you can even get dipping sauce for each one. The cheddar garlic bagel twist can be enjoyed with marinara dipping sauce as well. If you visit in the fall you can even enjoy a pumpkin twist too.

9. Mint Julep Bar – New Orleans Square

We know everything taste better when it is Mickey shaped and the beignets at the Mint Julep Bar are no exceptions. These light, deep-fried treats are served hot and fresh in packs of 3 or 6. Again, they even add some seasonal flavors throughout the year, so check them out to see what special flavors they have or enjoy the delicious original.

8. Bengal Barbecue – Adventureland

If you are in the mood for some yummy BBQ, you won’t be disappointed snacking on these skewers. Here you can find everything from a spicy beef skewer to bacon wrapped asparagus skewer. If you are feeling extra adventurous, try the Chef’s Special skewer. You can’t go wrong with any of the choices here.

7. Jolly Holiday Bakery – Main Street USA

One of the most iconic attractions at Disneyland, The Matterhorn, also has a pretty epic treat named after it that you can find at Jolly Holiday. The Matterhorn macaroon is a delicious coconut cookie topped with white chocolate. Meant to pay homage to the coaster, this treat has become a guest favorite.

6. Tiki Juice Bar – Adventureland

I would not be able to do an article about snacks at Disneyland without mentioning Dole Whips. Yes, they are that good. Dole Whips soft-serve, floats, pineapple spears and fruit bowls are all served here to cool you down on a warm California day.

5. Turkey Leg Cart – Paradise Pier

Everyone knows Disney has turkey legs and while they are good, that isn’t what you need to try at these carts. The chimichanga at this cart is a great snack to have while walking the boardwalk and trying your hand at a few carnival games. This deep-fried burrito taste delicious alone or topped with salsa.

4. Cove Bar – Paradise Pier

One of the hardest tables to get is one at the Cove Bar. Why? They serve lobster nachos. Along with other snacks and cocktails, the most notable treat here is the nachos. Lobster atop nacho chips covered in beans and melted cheeses…need I say more?

3. Cozy Cone Motel – Cars Land

Besides just taking in the incredible sights in Cars Land, you will need to mosey on over to Cozy Cone Motel for a Chili Cone Queso. Beef chili, cheddar cheese and corn chips layered in a soft pretzel bread cone makes for a fabulous snack anytime of day.

2. Corn Dog Castle – Paradise Pier

The name of this kiosk says it all. Corn dogs. On occasion you can find yourself waiting in line for over 30 minutes for this giant, freshly fried, corn dog. If that isn’t exactly what you want, don’t leave without trying the cheddar cheese stick, a batter-dipped, deep-fried cheese stick.

I feel like a trip to Disney’s California Adventure isn’t complete without enjoying a bread bowl. Yes, even in the summer. You’ll enjoy the Boudin sourdough bread filled with chowder, broccoli and cheese soup or any other seasonal soup while sitting over the water.
